Welcome New Mothers 2018!

We welcomed 9 new mothers into our Windy City Chapter on Sunday, May 20th.

June Planning Meeting

Hello, Windy City Mothers.

I hope we are all rejuvenated with Sister Mom spirit from our wonderful New Mother Initiation, Officer Installation, and Bridging Over Ceremony yesterday. Let’s keep the spirit and momentum going by bringing our thoughts and energy to the June Planning Meeting as we get “Back to Basics”. We will review our Programming and work within our Grade Groups 1 through 5 to plan out the year, while enjoying Chicago favorite food, special drinks, raffles, and meeting new mothers. This time will also be used for current officers to transition information to new officers. Please register by May 27, so that we can accommodate everyone.

Remember that quality programming starts with each of us and our creative input, so your presence is critical to making our 2018-2019 Program year a success. Please wear your favorite Jack and Jill attire.

See you June 3rd!

March of Dimes, March for Babies Walk – Sunday, April 29, 2018

,

Dear Moms,

Few life events are more joyful than the birth of a child. Yet, no one anticipates a baby born prematurely or very sick and needing to spend time in a newborn intensive care unit. Sadly, for hundreds of thousands of moms in our country, that is the frightening reality.
That’s why we are raising money for March for Babies® to help the March of Dimes fund lifesaving research and programs that help more moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. Please join this team https://www.marchforbabies.org/team/JackandJillofAmericaWindyCityChapter to help us reach our goal of $1,500.
Getting started is easy. Just go to https://www.marchforbabies.org/team/JackandJillofAmericaWindyCityChapter and click “join this team” and check out our fundraising. Our event takes place on 4/29/2018 at Grant Park – Butler Field, and it will be even better with you there with us!
Sincerely,
Ricarda (Chris) Sanders
